Introduction to Woodcarving Class, Erie, PA
This course was a solo teaching experience. This course gave participats a foundation in traditional skills for carving ornamental pieces in wood. Participants developed an understanding of the selection, sharpening, and safe handling of carving tools. Instruction covered the full process of ornamental carving, starting with drawings and ending with surfaces that are finished straight from the carving tools.
